The purpose of this site is to give you inner strength and control over your life that is unshakeable. This is through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"iStock_000019925991_Full\"<\/a>Most of us go through life as if in a trance. We are completely oblivious to the forces that act on us in this world. We are focused on the problems and pleasures of this world without any true direction or idea of what true reality is. In other words…..<\/span><\/p>\n

…..most of us are fast asleep!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

You may find the material in this site<\/span> hard hitting<\/span><\/strong> and even<\/span> shocking<\/strong><\/span> in places. That is my<\/span> intention. My intention is to wake you up with a good shake. Maybe then you might half open one somnolent eye and gaze in the right direction!<\/span><\/p>\n

So I want to share with you about what I have discovered which will be revealed as you read through the pages of this site. I have never been to Bible School and I\u2019m not a priest or a pastor. I\u2019m just an average person that happened to struggle and make a mess of my life in places. I\u2019ve made some stupid mistakes in my life and been in some very dark places. So this site is all about my journey from being a slave to this world to being a child of God. Living a life full of inner joy and peace.<\/span><\/p>\n

To start off let us talk a little bit about personal freedom.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

If you approached me 20 years ago and asked me this question “Are you free?”<\/strong>, I would have unhesitatingly replied “Yes, Of course I’m free”.<\/strong> I would have even looked at you in a strange and perplexed way. After all I live in a Western Democratic Country…”Of course I’m free”.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Let me also tell you that I would also be completely and absolutely WRONG!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The vast majority of us are as ‘un-free’ as it is possible to get without being chained to the walls of the darkest dungeon.<\/span><\/p>\n

You don’t agree?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Consider most people:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Work<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Most people\u00a0hand over approximately 40 hours of their attention every week to the dictates of someone else. Whether they like their job or not they are being completely controlled and made to behave more or less like a dancing puppet attached to strings. Any attempt to deviate from this state would result in penalties or even dismissal.<\/span><\/p>\n

And yet these people would claim to be free.<\/span><\/p>\n

Taxes<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Most people hand over at least 50% of their hard earned income to other people. They only have a vague idea as to where the money really goes. If they asked for an itemised breakdown they would only be met with blank stares and vague answers. If they tried to withold their money then it will be taken from them by force. They accept this as reasonable and acceptable.<\/span><\/p>\n

And yet\u00a0these people\u00a0would claim to be free.<\/span><\/p>\n

Debts<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Most people have barely enough money to live on, because their spending equals or exceeds the remains of their income. They are trapped and not free because they have to work to pay their bills. The fear of losing their job and increasing their debts keeps them in line. Their life is monotonous and unchangeable and they feel that there is absolutetly nothing they can do to change their situation. They are trapped and utterly powerless. This prevents them from reaching their full potential, developing their creative energies and living a life of joy.<\/span><\/p>\n

And yet\u00a0these people\u00a0would claim to be free.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Media<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Most people\u00a0listen to or read the daily news broadcasts. They are happy to debate about these topics to other groups of people or friends. They spend alot of their time digesting snippets of information that the media have decided to reveal that day. There are thousands of news items that the media could show but they only show a select few based on their choice. The emotional state and lifestyle of\u00a0most people\u00a0is determined by what particular news item the media have decided to release that day.<\/span><\/p>\n

And yet\u00a0these people\u00a0would claim to be free.<\/span><\/p>\n

Relationships<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Most people\u00a0mix with other people whom they regard as either close friends or just people that they meet with from time to time. Whether a close friend or just an aquaintance one person will always have good intentions and plenty of advice on how the other should live and conduct their life. Non conformance to this well intended advice will eventually result in constant nagging and bickering until the other person either gives in or they have nothing left to talk about. This puts the friendship to the test!<\/span><\/p>\n

And yet\u00a0these people\u00a0would claim to be free.<\/span><\/p>\n

Life<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Most people do not even know why they\u00a0exist and for what purpose they serve. They have no control over illness, ageing and their appearance. They are certain that they will die but at what hour and day they are uncertain.<\/span><\/p>\n

And yet these people\u00a0would claim to be free.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Illusion<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Despite of all of these known facts many people go about their temporal existance and behave as if they are in complete control of their life and other people. This makes them behave with arrogance, haughtiness and greed. And when things don’t go their way they become angry, envious and resentful.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is a trick of the enemy to make you forget the true reality of life. <\/span><\/p>\n

Everyone of us, every human being and every living creature will have to leave this earth one day. And whatever we have we cannot take with us. We came to this earth without and we shall leave without.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The final temporal state of a rich and powerful leader is exactly the same as that of somebody with little money and no possessions….<\/span><\/p>\n

….which is DUST!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

So how free do you feel now?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
