So how do you receive the free gift of Jesus Christ?
“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved” – Acts 16:31
We can receive Jesus Christ by personally inviting Him into our lives. Jesus said
“Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in” – Revelation 3:20

“Lord Jesus, I need you. Thank you for dying on the cross to pay the penalty for my sins. I ask forgiveness for my sins and receive you as my Lord and Savior. Thank you for giving me the gift of eternal life. I want to turn and live a new life with you as my Lord and Saviour. Thank you, Jesus. Amen.”
If you prayed this prayer to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, congratulations. When you sincerely ask Jesus Christ to be your Saviour, He comes into your life spiritually, and you become a child of God.
To summarise:
The enemy uses our senses to delude us through his weapon of ignorance! That way we are lied to, deceived and fall to sin. We cannot escape sin and make a full surrender to God using our own efforts. The enemy knows this and can use this to turn our hearts away from God and from doing Gods will. He may appear to be in control but he is not.
God is in control and He sent His son to die on the cross. On the cross the Lord Jesus paid for all of our sins. He ended all of satan’s rights over us because He took all of our sins upon Himself. When the Lord Jesus died on the cross, it seemed as though the powers of darkness were victorious over Him. But on the third day He arose from the grave with a mighty triumph over satan and the powers of darkness.
Before He ascended back into Heaven, He said,
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me” – Matthew 28:18

The evil of this world may appear to have a hold over you. You may feel defeated and helpless but you do not need to be that way. Why? The reason is…
….the enemy has been defeated!
Once you have given your life to Jesus His grace and protection will always be with you. You can walk through life armoured against all fear, peril and disaster.
When Gods presence surrounds you and fills you with the Holy Spirit what is there that can touch you? Whom do you need to fear? In times of difficulty all you have to do is lift up your eyes and look to heaven.
If God be for you who dare be against you?
Get into good bible based church and learn from other Christians. Your church Priest or Pastor will be more then happy to guide you, give you support and answer any questions you might have. Most Christian organisations run alpha courses to help new Christians along the right path.
